Benton Lion's Club donates to the LWSB Building Fund

The Benton Lions Club donated $2,100 to the Lion's World Services for the Blind (LWSB) Building Fund at the local chapters Tuesday meeting. The donation reflects $100 per member and will be dedicated to the LWSB fund to build a new facility near the Clinton Library. The current facility is on Fair Park Blvd in Little Rock, near the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. The LWSB is the largest resident adult sight rehabilitation facility in the world, having served people from all 50 states and 57 countries. On hand to accept the donation are (from left) Dave DeGraff, LWSB Board of Directors President, Linda Steele, Lions District 7L zone Chairwoman, presenting the donation are Bruce Hester, Benton Lions Club President, and Myron Conley, Benton Lions Club President Treasurer.
